I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Christy O’Hara R.M.T. I’ve been a practicing massage therapist for the past three years. In May 2003 I completed my training at the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy (CCMH) in Toronto.
Massage therapy has allowed me to work in a variety of settings. I’ve had the privilege of working in a wellness centre; spa, massage and acupuncture clinics and now along-side a chiropractor and massage therapist.
Over the last three years I’ve seen individuals with major and minor health concerns and look at each case not only as a challenge but as an opportunity to educate and help restore one’s health.
There are individuals that are skeptical about massage therapy, but I always recommend a single treatment, this will allow them to experience what a massage can offer, what it entails and how it can be beneficial to them.
My mission has always been to help others improve their quality of life; physically, mentally and emotionally.
Massage therapy is a career that I love and enjoy. The last three years have been exciting, informative, challenging and not to mention, rewarding. I look forward to treating for many years to come.
